What caught my attention:
"It might be worth distinguishing 'the truth' from 'your truth' before building your life around it."
— Gary John Bishop
What I see:
This one hit me hard — because I’ve lived it.
Not once. Many times. And I’ve seen this happen to every single person I’ve ever worked with.
No one is immune.
I’ve built entire parts of my life around other people’s truths — not my own.
And here’s the thing: it’s not a one-time event.It keeps happening.
Life keeps expanding. Your truth keeps evolving. You get better at knowing yourself.
And the faster you grow, the faster this realization comes.
One day you’ll look in the mirror and think:I’ve been giving my power away to someone else’s version of truth.
I’ve been living under their ceiling:• their beliefs about what’s possible• their version of success• their version of what I “should” want
Their voice in my head saying:you should eat thisyou should buy thatyou should marryyou should have kidsyou should own a house by X ageshould, should, should.
That is hell on Earth.
And the moment you see it — truly see it — is both crushing and freeing.
It will wreck you.And then it will rebuild you — from the inside out.
It’s the moment when hell on Earth is at its peak — and heaven on Earth begins.
Because in that moment, you see it clearly:None of it was yours.
