What caught my attention

For two weeks my Oura sat steady at 2 years younger with PWV 7.1 m/s.
Last night I tried 1 gram of L‑citrulline for the very first time.
This morning: 2.5 years younger, still reading 7.1 m/s.
The whole number didn’t change—but the decimal did. My PWV likely shifted from something like 7.14→ 7.10 m/s. Oura rounds to one decimal, so the number stayed at 7.1, but the algorithm caught the shift and rewarded me with that half‑year drop.
What I see
The citrulline box showed up yesterday! I tore it open with excitement (haha! yes! chemical compounds make me happy!), scooped about 1 gram (~⅓ scoop) into a glass, swirled it, and took slow sips—half‑joking with myself that I might rocket straight into the sky hahahahaha!
Nothing wild at first.
~30 minutes later: a sudden, floaty, almost electric lightness spread through my torso and head. It felt safe, but different. Then it passed.
Sleep: absolutely amazing.
Morning: Oura showed the jump from 2.0 → 2.5 years younger, even while PWV still displayed 7.1.
Why did citrulline hit me so fast?Because my system is already primed. Even a single gram could move the needle:
Citrulline → Arginine → Nitric Oxide (NO)Citrulline turns into arginine, fueling nitric oxide synthase. More NO = relaxed arteries, smoother blood flow, less tension = lower PWV.
Elastic reboundMy body is already hydrated, mineralized, detoxed, and de‑inflamed (rucking, minerals, sleep).Citrulline didn’t build the foundation—it just unlocked it.
What this first gram showed meOne gram, one night—and I already saw measurable impact. My goal is a PWV 6.5 m/s. If you want the full experiment breakdown, read my article: This is not a citrulline story — it’s biochemical magic, but only when the system is quiet enough to hear it.
What’s nextI’ll keep sharing updates as I push this experiment forward.
Honestly, I didn’t expect to feel it this quickly—but that’s the thrill: watching my body reveal what it can do.
This is just the beginning. Clinical dosing goes up to 6 grams. There’s so much more to test—PWV, workout performance, resting heart rate, HRV.
I’m starting with morning dosing, but I’ll also try citrulline before rucking, before Peloton rides, and even before sleep, to see how far this can take me.
What this means right nowOne night doesn’t give solid evidence yet—it’s just the very first sign.
But it does hint at what’s possible.
For me, this is the start of seeing how far my arteries can actually reverse age—one measurable step at a time.
